Spanish Memorial Cards (Recordatorios)
Tarjetas en memoria with your loved one’s photo, an “En Memoria” header, and Salmo 23 or your own prayer in Spanish. Design online and preview both sides before you order.
Recordatorios de funeral, designed in Spanish
Our customizer includes an “En Memoria” header for the front and the full Salmo 23 (“El Señor es mi pastor; nada me faltará…”) for the back, so you can make a Spanish card without typing a prayer. Any other prayer or message in Spanish can be added as custom text, accents included.
Many families make bilingual cards: the header and prayer in Spanish for grandparents and older relatives, with the name and dates readable for everyone. You see exactly how it looks before ordering.

Tips for Spanish and bilingual cards
- Write dates the way the family reads them, for example “12 de marzo de 1948 – 3 de octubre de 2026,” or simply the years.
- Include both family surnames if that is how your loved one was known (e.g., “María Guadalupe Hernández López”).
- Keep the prayer to the front half of the back if you also want a short line of thanks. For more prayers, see Catholic funeral prayer cards.

Questions families ask
Can I make a memorial card in Spanish?
Yes. Choose the “En Memoria” header and the built-in Salmo 23, or add any Spanish prayer or message as custom text with accents. The live preview shows the card before you order.
What do you write on a Spanish memorial card?
Most cards use “En Memoria de” or “En Amoroso Recuerdo de” with the name and dates on the front, and Salmo 23, the Padre Nuestro, or “Dale, Señor, el descanso eterno” on the back. Short lines like “Siempre en nuestros corazones” are also popular.
What are recordatorios de funeral?
Recordatorios are small memorial or prayer cards given to family and friends at a funeral or rosary, with a photo of the person and a prayer, kept as a reminder to pray for them.
Can the card be bilingual?
Yes. Many families use a Spanish header and prayer with English wording elsewhere, or the reverse. Everything is editable in the preview.
